The Hammer

The Cheeky Cockney

Born with a microphone in his mouth at a very early age, his father took one look at the new infant and said ‘this kid has the perfect face for radio’!

Since then, The Hammer has inflicted himself on radio and TV stations all over England, beginning a career spanning thirty plus years, with the BBC, and in more recent years, taking that forgettable face onto television.

Shows such as Moaning Old Gits (comedy), Whinge of The Week (Comedy), The Feel Good Friday Show (Music), The 60’s Show (oldies) and his worldwide syndicated programme Now THAT’S Weird (talk) have made The Hammer a legend in his own lunchbox.

In 2008, a TV channel saw the potential of Now THAT’S Weird and gave him his own weekly slot, which has seen his popularity grow to full picnic proportions!

He has also made somewhat of an impact in TV in the conspiracies, paranormal, and UFO fields with lead appearances in shows such as Ghost Detectives (with former Dr Who Tom Baker), Haunted Halloween Live (which he also directed for ITV), Ghostwatch Live (Tower of London for the BBC) and Fear (Mentorn Productions for Channel 4)

Now, a new chapter begins with this new mid-morning show, where the world gets to hear a different viewpoint of what is REALLY happening in the South West of England, one of the UK's top tourist destinations.
